This report, which will be updated, provides an overview of the leadership, priorities, and prospects for Mexico's new administration. It then briefly analyzes how those priorities may affect key bilateral issues of interest to the 113th Congress and suggests possible questions for oversight related to each issue area. The report concludes with an outlook section containing key questions that may be used to assess the PeÃ±a Nieto Administration and its impact on U.S.- Mexican relations.
